the rivenhall is quite well-located, making it easy to access nearby attractions. the staff were friendly and helped with directions. plus, the room was cozy and had all the basic amenities needed for a comfortable stay.

Disappointing Experience, Keep Clear!

Builders were everywhere, making it impossible to assess any services or amenities.

the hotel was closed upon arrival without any prior notice, forcing us to spend an additional £276 for last-minute accommodation. While this was incredibly frustrating, it’s worth noting that the location was potentially nice, and guests have mentioned enjoying the salmon on the menu, which hints at a decent dining option.

We arrived at the hotel only to find it completely shut down without any prior notification. This was extremely frustrating, especially since we had to scramble last minute and book another place to stay at a higher cost. It's unacceptable for a hotel to leave guests uninformed like this.

The bar had a great selection of craft beers. It was shut down completely with builders working on it.

the staff was nice n understanding. the place had a good vibe, n it was easy to find. even tho we didnt get to stay, i liked the look of the lobby. check-in was quick n smple. loved the decor it seemed pretty chill.

we recently stayed in witham for our honeymoon and the rivenhall totally exceeded our expectations. the cozy atmosphere and well-decorated lobby created a lovely vibe that set the tone for our trip. plus, the easy check-in process made our arrival seamless.

Comfortable room, friendly atmosphere, and excellent amenities like free parking and fast wi-fi made our stay enjoyable, with the hotel conveniently located just 36 km from the nearest airport for easy travel.

Nothing I didn't like.

So, we actually didn't even get to stay at this hotel because it was shut down with no notice. Total waste of time. Super frustrating.

The hotel clearly needs better communication!!! Arriving to a closed hotel without prior notice is unacceptable. How about updating the website to reflect actual operations? And let’s improve the reliability of basic amenities!!!
